About The Club

The Deerfield Valley Sportsmen’s Club, Inc. — originally established as the Wilmington Rod & Gun Club, Inc. — is located at 641 Fowler Road in Whitingham, Vermont, and has been serving the community for nearly 50 years. We are a volunteer-run, non-profit 501(c)(4) organization.

The club offers firearms enthusiasts and their families a welcoming environment to enjoy a wide range of shooting and outdoor activities.

We warmly invite you and your family to join us!

Why A Sportsmen's Club?

Responsible sportsmen care deeply about conservation, safety, regulations, game management, fish stocking, and other issues that impact the environment. The Deerfield Valley Sportsmen’s Club offers the facilities, support, and community to help protect these interests—not just for today, but for future generations.

Membership connects you with fellow sportsmen and friends, all working together toward a shared goal.

The Club's Objectives
  • To maintain and hand down to future generations that splendid heritage of the sportsmen that we have received from the pioneer hunter and fishermen of Vermont.

  • To encourage the children of our locality to love and enjoy the recreation of the outdoor life and to foster and develop a higher appreciation of the natural attraction of the woods and streams in this vicinity.

  • To encourage proper protection of the fish, game, birds and the preservation of their natural homes.

  • To help mold and develop public sentiments to uphold the statutes of Vermont as related to hunting, fishing and the conservation of wildlife.
